<h1>Chapter 30: Chaos</h1><p>Chapter 30: Chaos</p><p>currently i was walking carrying Elda and Nora behind Olivia who was leading the way, on the way several people questioned us but Olivia dealt with appeared i felt as if the world was pressed into me and felt it quite difficult to breath, seeing the person in front of me i was suprised after all i had seen him in some portraits of the go pale when they heard about their situation, Elda slowly started crying while Nora was still acting tough</p><p>i pulled Elda into my embrace, who started crying both in fear and sadness, i sat there patting her back to give her some comfort</p><p>“Austin i won’t let you do this”</p><p>Nora was the first to break the silence, she wore a serious expression completely conveying her conviction… and slowly kept the now pacified Elda down, then i walked towards the ancestor Luke</p><p>“ancestor i want to take the test for both of them”</p><p>“Austin!” “Big brother!”</p><p>neglecting my shouting sister’s i looked towards the ancestor</p><p>“are you sure, i certainly don’t want to see such a talent wasted”</p><p>“i am sure, plus can you do me a favour”</p><p>“what is it”</p><p>“if i fail and die could you sent my sisters away, since i am taking the test i should be the only one affected by it’s failure”</p><p>there was silence for a bit before Luke responded</p><p>“I can do that but during the period of the test you must protect both of them and if they die under your protection then it’s on you”</p><p>after saying that his body started to turn illusionary and disappears</p><p>“you have 5 minutes to get ready”</p><p>after that he completely disappeared, i turn towards my sisters one looking at me with worry and the other with sadness</p><p>“Nora i said that Chapitre 30 : Chaos Actuellement, je marchais en portant Elda et Nora, suivant Olivia qui nous guidait. En chemin, plusieurs personnes nous ont interpellés, mais Olivia a géré la situation à la perfection. Après quelques minutes de marche, nous sommes arrivés devant une immense porte sans aucun garde ni protection, ce qui m'a laissé perplexe. Voyant mon expression confuse, Olivia répondit froidement : « Il n'y a pas de gardes parce qu'il n'y en a pas besoin. Cette salle ne peut être ouverte que par quelqu'un possédant le jeton de l'Empereur ou une lignée sanguine spéciale comme la mienne. » Après avoir dit cela, elle se fit une petite coupure à la main et la posa sur la porte qui trembla légèrement avant de s'ouvrir. Une fois la porte ouverte, tout ce que je pus voir à l'intérieur n'était que ténèbres, des ténèbres absolues. À son apparition, j'eus l'impression que le monde pesait sur moi, et je trouvai difficile de respirer. En voyant la personne devant moi, je fus surpris : après tout, je l'avais vu sur certains portraits du palais. Luke Ezraeil, le fondateur de l'Empire Ezraeil, un homme légendaire pour le moins. À la vue de cette personne, Elda et Nora furent stupéfaites, car elles purent elles aussi l'identifier. « Austin, qu'est-ce qui se passe ? » « Grand frère, que se passe-t-il ? » Nora et Elda interrogèrent simultanément avant que je ne puisse répondre. Quelqu'un d'autre le fit à ma place. « Vous êtes ici parce que votre lignée sanguine s'est éveillée, et vous êtes en danger. » Les paroles de Luke plongèrent les deux filles dans un silence, car elles se turent aussitôt. Soupirant, je m'approchai d'elles et leur expliquai la situation. Je vis le visage de Nora et Elda pâlir en apprenant leur situation. Elda se mit à pleurer doucement, tandis que Nora essayait encore de faire bonne figure. J'attirai Elda dans mes bras, qui se mit à pleurer de peur et de tristesse. Je restai là, lui tapotant le dos pour la réconforter. « Austin, je ne te laisserai pas faire ça. » Nora fut la première à briser le silence. Son expression sérieuse reflétait toute sa détermination... mais malheureusement, sa détermination ne signifiait rien pour moi en ce moment ! Je plongeai mon regard dans ses yeux comme pour l'effrayer, mais elle me fixa droit dans les yeux sans même broncher. Cela dura un moment avant que je ne sourie. « Grande sœur, te souviens-tu de ce que je t'ai dit il y a trois ans lors de notre première partie d'échecs ? » Ma question abrupte la prit au dépourvu. Sans plus d'explications, je me levai et déposai doucement Elda, maintenant apaisée, puis je m'avançai vers l'ancêtre Luke. « Ancêtre, je veux passer le test pour elles deux. » « Austin ! » « Grand frère ! » Ignorant les cris de mes sœurs, je regardai l'ancêtre. « En es-tu sûr ? Je ne voudrais pas voir un tel talent gâché. » « J'en suis sûr. Et pourrais-tu me faire une faveur ? » « Laquelle ? » « Si j'échoue et meurs, pourrais-tu renvoyer mes sœurs ? Comme c'est moi qui passe le test, je devrais être le seul affecté par son échec. » Il y eut un silence avant que Luke ne réponde. « Je peux faire cela. Mais pendant l'épreuve, tu devras les protéger toutes les deux. Si elles meurent sous ta protection, ce sera ta responsabilité. » Après ces mots, son corps commença à devenir illusoire et disparaître. « Tu as cinq minutes pour te préparer. » Puis il disparut complètement. Je me tournai vers mes sœurs : l'une me regardait avec inquiétude, l'autre avec tristesse. « Nora, je t'ai dit que je prendrais soin de toi, que je serais là pour toi.
